When God interrupts
This title is not original. It is from today’s sermon at Crossroads Church in Montrose, if you haven’t been there you should definitely check it out because that church is on fire for the Lord. Anyways, today’s sermon was about when God interrupts our lives, a take on the events around Christmas. Mary and Joseph were interrupted with the divine pregnancy of Jesus by the Holy Spirit, there was an element of fear and uncertainty there, but they obeyed, Mary said ““Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.”
Now I am not saying that we were visited by angels, but we did receive word from the Lord that He wanted us to do this coffeeshop. Did we plan on it? NO. Do we know anything about coffee? NO. But we will obey God, despite the fear and uncertainty that we feel at this moment in time.
So, when God interrupts your life, listen! We encourage you to obey, despite the fear you may feel for God says ““Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
God bless you all,
Rachel.
